It’s been a little bit, but we got to spend some time with grandson Jeremiah. As usual, if we’re spending time together, we simply must have selfie-time. With all the work-from-home stuff and some mandatory overtime, it’s made it difficult to get out of town to visit. So today’s bike ride took me the University of Louisville campus. A lot has changed since I attended a hundred years ago. But the August Rodin statue of The Thinker made me feel like some things can be considered eternal. Or, at least, around long enough for me to get a mobile phone photo. So, there was this kissing booth at Wild Lights at the Zoo and I figured I should take advantage. I never caught the dolphin’s name, but she didn’t hold it against me. And we shared a moment. Well, as much of a moment as you can share with a light up inflatable sea mammal at the Louisville Zoo in front of a crowd of people. For people who have not visited the Louisville Zoo, there are two extra loveable attractions: the elephants and the polar bears. So, when we visited the Wild Lights at the Zoo display last night, I had to find a polar bear. Actually around Glacier Run, there’s a bunch of polar bear inflatables.
